FORTECH offers wire-cut EDM support for components that need precise profiles, sharp internal corners, narrow slots, and accurate cutting in hard or difficult-to-machine materials. The process is well suited for tooling, dies, punches, plates, gauges, and precision profiles.
Wire-cut EDM removes material using a controlled electrical discharge between a wire electrode and the workpiece. It is useful when conventional machining cannot easily produce fine profiles, sharp corners, thin slots, or detailed tooling shapes.
